okay, got back most of the results. its wtf demoralising. what happened to studying very hard. and you feel even worse when ppl that you know that are not doing academically well, are getting similar scores as you or even better. whats worse is that they just started studying only a few days before that paper. and on top of everything, the thing you wont want to hear most but its an actual fact is that results of prelim2 are the actual reflection of your Alevel grades. how cool to get to know that i'll be getting straight 'smiley faces' on my graduation cert in 7months time. okay, maybe i should really think about what one of the teacher said 'getting this kind of results, you're not supposed to fault that the question is too hard but blame yourself on why you cant do it'. and yes totally true that when others can pass and i cant, something is effing wrong. and while others are using this reamining 5weeks to think of ways to get 'A's,
im still at square one worrying if i can even pass.

went around doing household surveys for the past two days, asking about racial and religion issues (questions were kinda dumb)
& its been, omg TIRING! /:
travelled entirely on foot from units to units, blocks to blocks. then its like totally depressing when you get rejected right in the face. ):
but then again on the extreme end, there can be really nice people who bother to entertain you (:
maybe i can just conclude that the fact is people who bother are actually non-singaporeans, non-adults. hahs. so you see..

went school, celebrated neh's birthday! (x got lots of spastic pictures of her, but lazy to upload luh. we got her a SMILEY face cake eh! super cutexzs!
after school, went down to sbw campsite with winnie for NSS camp. day1 of camp, got to know my group, 2GB (the thumbdrive thing, not girls brigade)! :DDD with JK and YJ. these kids are year1s this year, and some are really really cute. rights, so i tried my best to rmb all of their names. (: but you know... HAHA
games were fun, and interesting. 2GB ended up blaming each other and those what-nots during one of the games. seeing jas lead and conduct her lects to the year1 & 2 made me learn alot. to do things by letting it flow, and it will just come naturally! ping gan jue...
went home at night.

went school, (last official school day!) yay!
after school, went down to sbw campsite with winnie.
day2 of camp, reached the campsite with year1s playing action bomb. morale wasnt totally high. and had like hard time bringing their spirits up. most complained but ya.. cant blame them though. after that proceeded with 'caterpillar'. where the kids were suppose to kiap balloons between himself and the person infront, and without using their hands not letting the balloon fall to the ground, and if the balloon touches the ground or smth, there'll be a 10sec penalty (okay, i dont think i understand what im trying to say either xD)
okays, so it was a challenge between 2GB and OT (fyi, its another year1 group). at first, 2GB couldnt really coordinate, some kept dropping their balloons which totally made others frustrated. and the movement was not standardise. after much trials and penalties, they managed to work tgt and WON the challenge! hahas. great job guys! :D
played torch pass after that. although you guys didnt finish the game but still there was effort seen in some of you! (:
learnt how to actually lead games and find ways to boost morale of my group (: & its super xinku to not tell and even hint the year1s on what they're suppose to do luh.
after dinner, helped out with POW (power of words hor! not prisoner of wars). was enriching. had a chance to teach and lead.
went home at night.

GCE A LEVEL CHINESE 2008!
paper1 was un-fa-hui-able, then paper2 was alright. and im like totally in the 'wl' mode when nelle said that passage one was the exact same thing that their teacher gave. zzzz. stayed for pw. then chiong down to sbw camp. ran errands. and stupid W bought prickly heat instead of deep heat. dumb or dumb?! xD
day 3 of camp. after their SOP writing and dinner, had this 'I am' session. got shouted at (my fault, not!) and the session made me reflected. it was one of the really really jing xin dong po moments. seeing the kids pushing themselves beyond what they are. and tearing really showed that they felt their innerself and stepped out of their comfort zone. and somehow it just made me feel whether i myself have even stepped out of my comfort zone. got lots of gan chu lor.
tasked to take over cheering with W & JK to bond the year1s and 2s. did this and that. and i really peifu W for being able to lead the crowd whatsoever which i dont think i can do it as good as her. then A and WJ took over & they're srsly power luh! their MQ is like the highest level. (applauds) they brought the morale to like HIGH HIGH HIGH HIGH level.
debriefed with year1s playing pass-the-current. did acknowledgemts in a fun way which they really enjoyed.
gave comments to each and every single 2GB-ians. and im really proud of myself for being able to actually rmb every single one of them and what they did (;
stayed over.

last day of camp. breakfast-ed, area-cleaning, then had combined activity where the year1s and 2s. they did their reflections of the whole camp etc. & meanwhile the trainers got bored and decided to play a game. with 100% participantion! its like (wl) nvr ever played a game until both two legs blueblack like siao luh! damn funny & damn pain!!. totally like cry & laugh at the same time. HAHA! you should totally come see my leg! xD
alrights, had major debrief & palyed MOGA. damn lame! :D
photos and everything(: then went ij for pw. & omg, the NSS teachers are real nice, cos they offered to give me a ride from sbw campsite to ij. so thoughtful lor(: yups. & the teacher hor, he say im confident in expressing myself. compliment leh~ xD

so overall, its a totally new experience! which i've grown up myself. and got to know myself better (:

today was rather fun (:
went expo to meet KW. and look at him have his lunch. HAHA. super funny. xD long time since we met up and chat. played his psp. and i srsly think im damn lousy luh! (x after that he took me for a 'tour' around expo. real fun! yups. so thanks eh!! (:

then went changi airport to meet A. and he said he havent been to T3 before. hahas. when i met him, he claimed that T3 has no CANDY EMPIRE. and so you're wrong! (x started choosing chocs and i couldnt decide, cos there was like lots of variety, thus a merit as it provides consumers with choices (hah. econs!) after that walk here and there and went macs. settled down and did CHINESE. productive hor. (:
chinese-d and then went viewing mall to see aeroplanes depart. but sadly T3 has limited departures so didnt really get to see any. went to take skytrain to T2 (and dearest A thought skytrain need pay money! real funny) :D went T2's viewing mall and (yay!) got to see aeroplanes take off. it really gives me a nice feeling, dont know why. (:

kinda slack today i suppose. school as usual. got back i&r. no chinese. but got chinese homework (dread) hahas. and then there was like assmbly. total boredom except the part that this cheryl shared her story. and i totally think she's really brave and positive. (:

okays. so there's like a hell lot of things happening all at this time.

16oct -
ytd we got back our papers (geog) which totally decides who can make it or not. although i got what i should but then again the overall might not be as pleasant. and i really dont want to promote and leave others behind. its just this ironic feeling within. helpless.

then before assmbly e.wong called to meet all house captains and vices. to like announce the overall results to us first. we just totally knew the outcome. was really disappointed in the first place. and he kept staring at us. like this is really unfair luh! e.wong explained the score system and there's really nth we can say but swallow whats been given. talked to mr.h after, and he totally let me see this differently. im not that upset anymore cos i know that we are the CHAMPIONS! being able to come in neck to neck, and with a score differnce of 0.025 means that we were really & are very strong this year! & im really proud and thankful for that. although we came in second but then again winning isnt everything. its only when we exceed ourselves that we are the real winners. and coming in first place would just be a bonus(: GOOD JOB RASALAS! and thank you J2s! :D

went dwn to jbaht after sch for campfire with my usual ppl. was really nice. saw many familiar faces. helped out and everything before the campfire started. the whole campfire was a job well done! credits to batch9 & adhoc (:
had trouble leaving the campsite. got into real deepshit. sorry i gave you guys attitude. & thanks for those who helped.
and sometimes it really makes me wonder. i know ppl are trying to be helpful and nice at times but sometimes it just doesnt help and might make things worse. and why is it that only during actual events that ppl come back and help? why isnt this help offered before the event itself? i know each and everyone has their personal commitments. who doesnt? im not complaining whatsoever but ya, assurance from you guys would really ease their load. anyway still, thanks for those came down. and thousands of credit to winnie!
